1. About Fourwalls
Fourwalls provides property energy-efficiency assessment, advice, retrofit planning and related project management services. Our services may include assessments relating to insulation, heating, solar photovoltaic systems, battery storage, heating controls, glazing, draught-proofing, EV charging and other energy-efficiency measures.
We aim to assess each property individually and provide recommendations based on the characteristics, condition and requirements of that property.
Where installation work is required, Fourwalls may arrange or manage work carried out by appropriately qualified, certified or vetted third-party contractors.
2. Website Information
We make reasonable efforts to ensure that the information published on this website is accurate and up to date. However, information on the website is provided for general information purposes and should not be treated as a guarantee of a particular result, saving, grant entitlement, EPC rating or financial outcome.
Energy costs, government schemes, regulations, technical standards, product availability and property requirements can change. We may update, amend or remove website content without notice.
3. Free Assessments
Where we advertise a free or no-obligation assessment, this means that no charge is made for the assessment itself, subject to the specific terms communicated when you arrange the assessment.
An assessment does not automatically create an obligation to purchase products or services from Fourwalls.
We reserve the right to refuse, cancel or reschedule an assessment where access to the property is unavailable, information provided is inaccurate, the property is unsuitable for assessment, or circumstances prevent the assessment from being carried out safely.
4. Property Assessments
Our recommendations are based on information available to us at the time of assessment. This may include information about the age, construction, insulation, heating systems, windows, roof, floors and other characteristics of the property.
Some conditions may not be visible or identifiable during an ordinary assessment. We do not guarantee that an assessment will identify every defect, building issue or potential improvement.
Where specialist investigations, surveys, structural assessments, electrical inspections, asbestos surveys or other professional investigations are required, these may need to be carried out separately.
5. Recommendations and Energy Savings
Any estimated energy savings, cost reductions, EPC improvements or financial benefits provided by Fourwalls are estimates based on available information and assumptions.
We do not guarantee a specific reduction in energy bills or a particular EPC rating unless expressly stated in a written contract.
6. Government Grants and Funding
Where applicable, we may assess whether a property appears to meet the requirements of a government grant or funding scheme.
Eligibility requirements can vary between schemes and may change over time. Funding may depend on household circumstances, property characteristics, income, location, EPC status, installer requirements and other criteria.
7. Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales, unless applicable consumer protection legislation provides otherwise.
Any disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales, subject to any mandatory rights you may have as a consumer.
